Mr Smith

One day before we enter 2007. A year where I have to produce a lot according to my supervisor. But that's life when you are a PhD student:)

This week I had to work, when there is a couple of deadlines ahead of me. One is 1 January 2007. Unfortunately I got sick on Thursday and felt like Mr Smith in Matrix, i.e. a rather unpleasant character ;(

But now I am back on track and ready for new surprises.

Much to do

Today I was early at work for the finaly day before christmas. I am in the middle of a bunch of deadlines for some three research papers and two examination for PhD courses. Puuuh, the proverb "Tough ain't enough" has some value at the moment.

On the other hand I can enjoy thinking about the luck that we didn't book our yearly Val D'Isere trip early as we use to do. Because there are no snow in the Alps:)

I do not want to transform my new wonderful Big Daddy into some rock skis after one week.

Final Seminar

Today we held the final seminar within research project Future of the archives. It was a pleasant day with feedback that felt good.
